The Certification Council's mission is to enhance the member experience by improving all matters that pertain to the Certification of ISTA Test Laboratories, People and Packaged-Product systems. To that end, we will:
- Revise and update policy for lab certification process of physical testing laboratories, excluding currently published Thermal Laboratory Certification.
- Conduct periodic reviews of all existing certification processes to ensure validity
- Enhance certification review policy for laboratories, people and packages
- Provide resolution and judgment to deviations from established guidelines
