Once you have a Packaging System validated and a change comes, you would like to make an assessment to verify that the already validated Packaging System is good for the new product after the change. You will need to demonstrate that the Packaging System is good, not just today but through the range of the Shelf Life. If performance of the Packaging System design needs to be challenged because the resulting product is the worst case, then you need to challenge the Packaging System design at the non-aged and aged condition. You cannot use a previous performance tests (non-aged and aged) as evidence to declare the Shelf Life of a new product. But Shelf Life can be adopted for a new product which is covered under the worst case scenario.
